At QueensCare Health Centers, we know that managing your medication can be confusing. Despite that, it’s vital that you learn about your medications and when and how to take them, to make sure that you are following your doctor’s guidelines. Your health and safety depend on it!

The right pharmacist can make medication management easier, safer, and more successful. To help our patients get the most out of their treatment and care, our pharmacists have access to and can consult with your providers to share expertise and ensure the best possible care for you.

PATIENT EDUCATION AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Our pharmacists work with you to manage your medication. Our goal is for you to feel confident that you know when and how to take your medications. This starts with teaching you about your medications and the reasons you are taking them. Pharmacists can explain potential reactions and create a plan for when and how to take multiple prescriptions throughout the day. Because pharmacists are highly trained in the chemical make-up of drugs, they can tell you whether it is safe to use over-the-counter medications and natural therapies while taking your prescriptions. By working with you to create a medication schedule, our pharmacists can make it easier to improve your health by making safety and your wellbeing a priority.
