Preventing COVID-19 Spread In Our Communities
Dear QueensCare Friends,
As you all are well aware, we are in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic, in the form of the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, that likely has not yet made its full impact on our community. The emergency has necessitated prioritizing the safety of patients and staff above all else. Unlike other businesses and organizations, we will not shut down or reduce operations in the face of the crisis, but rather will step up to meet the challenges it presents.
All QueensCare and QueensCare Health Centers locations remain open during regular operating hours. However, out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling all programs and events scheduled through April 30, 2020. Both precautionary measures against the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) are in line with the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and LA County Department of Public Health (LACDPH).
We want to thank all of our wonderful staff who have been so supportive, flexible, patient and dedicated. Those in the health centers and community-facing programs like QHFP and the Mobile Programs are on the front lines. They will and are doing “God’s work” by helping the people we serve. We will do all we can to support their work and stay out of their way. The administrative staff have all been responsive to plans to work remotely for the duration to avoid further spread of the virus. Our boards can be proud of the dedicated team members at QueensCare and QueensCare Health Centers who define the term “mission driven.”
As these challenges further develop, we will continue to rely on guidance and recommendations from local health authorities and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to shape our policies moving forward. We understand this is a difficult time, and we want to assure you that the health and wellness of our patients, staff, and communities are our top priority.

Como todos ustedes saben, estamos en medio de una pandemia sin precedentes, en forma de Coronavirus, o COVID-19, que probablemente aún no ha tenido un impacto total en nuestra comunidad. La emergencia ha requerido priorizar la seguridad de nuestros pacientes y nuestro personal por encima de todo. A diferencia de otras empresas y organizaciones, no cerraremos ni reduciremos las operaciones ante esta crisis, sino que daremos un paso adelante para enfrentar los desafíos que presenta.
Todos los centros de QueensCare y QueensCare Health Centers permanecerán abiertos durante el horario de atención habitual. Sin embargo, por precaución, estamos cancelando todos los programas y eventos programados hasta el 30 de abril del 2020. Ambas medidas de precaución contra la propagación del Nuevo Coronavirus (COVID-19) están alineadas con las últimas recomendaciones de los Centros para Enfermedades Control y Prevención (CDC) y el Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado de Los Ángeles (LACDPH).

Lo harán y están haciendo “la obra de Dios” ayudando a las personas a las que servimos. Haremos todo lo posible para apoyar su trabajo y mantenernos fuera de su labor. El personal administrativo ha respondido a los planes de trabajar de forma remota durante este tiempo para evitar una mayor propagación del virus. Nuestras juntas directivas pueden estar orgullosos de los miembros del equipo dedicados en QueensCare y QueensCare Health Centers que definen el término “impulsado por la misión.”
